Who is Faster? Ramos i9 Android Tablet vs iPad Air

It's quit meaningful for the Ramos i9 and iPad Air tablets released in this second part of the year. iPad Air is the new flagship edition tablet for Apple. While Ramos i9 is a 8.9 inch display Android tablet, what's more, it comes with Intel Clover Trail+ series Z2580 strong CPU and the processor speed can reach up to 2.0GHz. i9 would be one of the fastest Android tablet with that.

Firstly, we compared the boot speed. iPad Air is little bit faster to go to the system. But it is quit similar.

About the UI operation, Ramos i9 and iPad Air both are very fluent. Ramos i9 runs Android 4.2.2 jelly bean operating system. Plus the 2GHz Intel CPU, the performance is impressive. There are also some widgets on i9's home screen, which is also the feature of Android.

About the local videos playing, we have to say Ramos i9 tablet computer is faster speed to load movies. We can feel the 1920x1200 super high definition on Ramos i9 8.9 inch IPS display also has amazing performance. The details not lose iPad Air.

Both of the tablets have great angle of view. In some angles, the Ramos i9 even has better performance.

Thanks to 2GHz Intel Z2580 CPU and 2GB LPDDR2 RAM in Ramos i9 Android tablet, the 1080P video playing is very fluent. The Ramos i9 has 255PPI, while iPad Air has 264PPI. Both have excellent display performance.

The PowerVR G6430 GPU in iPad Air is very good, the games playing are very smoothly. While how the performance is of the PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU in Ramos i9 tablet computer is something we want to know. Ramos i9 uses the same series Imagination PowerVR GPU as iPad Air, and it has 533MHz frequency. We tested the Need For Speed 17: Most Wanted. We can see both performance are very good. Fluent, responsive, fast. Including Audio effects, Ramos i9 has impressive results.

Another 3D game Fifa2014, the performance of Ramos i9 is also very close with iPad Air.

While opening a web page test, the loading speed both are fast.

But when we open a photos site, the Ramos i9 is even faster than iPad Air.

The online video playing is also fluent.


Overall speaking, though compared with the leading tablet Apple iPad Air, Ramos i9 is also impressive. An Android tablet with Intel CPU has made the market of tablet computers more interesting and competitive. We believe that in the future, the tablets would bring us many more great works!
