High efficiency but Low power-consumption, New ARM Cortex-A12 program

As the leader in mobile field, the devices using ARM program share big half of the market. While, today it releases new Cortex-A12 program with high efficiency and low power-consumption features. What's more, Cortex-A12 can be used with Cortex-A7 to make 6-core super mobile phones or tablet computers!

Cortex-A12 is also using ARM v7 instruction set with 28nm process. And it integrates Mali T622 and Mali V500 GPU. Same as Cortex-A15, it supports big and small core design (6-core). Compared with 40nm Cortex-A9 processor, A12 can have 70% efficiency improvements but 50% lower power-consumption! We are really looking forward to seeing the real performance.

When those smart mobile phones and tablet computers would use this processor is still unknown yet. But we believe that they would come out very soon. At the moment, the quad-core Cortex-A7, which also has low power-consumption but high efficiency performance, is also a good choice! Such as the Ampe A10 Sanei N10 Quad-Core Ultimate edition is using the Allwinner A31 chipset based on quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU!
